Immerse yourself in one of these critical languages– Arabic, Chinese, or Portuguese. With SDSU's Summer Intensive Language Courses, you can earn 3-20 units of foreign language credit this summer. Each intensive language and culture studies class meets for four to six hours of interactive instruction daily.

The proposed hybrid domestic program format of 50/50 in-person/remote is subject to change depending on potential travel and university restrictions as summer 2021 approaches. The alternative program plan would be a fully online format.

About the Classes
Arabic and Persian courses are 4 units each. Portuguese 101/102 are 5 units each and Portuguese 203/204 are 3 units each. Tuition is $369 per unit.

Take a two-course sequence (e.g., Persian 101/102, Persian 201/202) to earn eight units of Arabic or Persian in under six weeks, or take an individual course to earn four to five units in under three weeks.
